and you run and you run to catch up with the sun,...
when i came home i realized how much i missed everything here. i missed my family, friends and my horse the most. i even missed little things like driving home from the cottage, my room, a big TV, having a fridge stocked with food in my own kitchen…
i don’t want to go back… i have nothing there.

i will miss a lot of things next year, but i think i’ll miss bea the most. she’s the one that keeps me sane. the best is when i’m putting my hairnet on and she stands behind me nibbling on the hood of my sweater. her quirkiness can cheer me up in an instant, no matter what.
